Fun and excitement awaits your next school camp – nestled in the north east of Victoria, Alexandra Adventure Resort provides adventure activities and camp experiences, making it a popular destination for all schools.
Located less than 2 hours from Melbourne, our accredited camp boasts large facilities with more than 200 beds in 5 lodges, with central heating and cooling in all rooms. For school staff, our well-appointed teacher’s lodge has king single beds, kitchenette, dining, lounge and TV – offering your staff a luxurious stay at camp. The student accommodation is modern with comfortable bunk beds with up to date bathroom amenities.
Our team supports your staff from booking your camp right through to the end of your stay. Programs are based on a 2 night/3 day stay or a week long experience and where available, we can also offer a 1 night/2 day stay. Included are a combination of instructor led activities mixed with teacher led activities for a camp packed full of adventure! We understand all schools are different, our outdoor programs are tailored to each school and we can also organise additional onsite activities to enhance your stay.
With over 16 onsite activities on offer, the instructor led activities are guided and supported by our team, taking students through activities ranging from Flying Fox, Rock Climbing, High Ropes, Leap of Faith, Giant Swing, Crate Stacking and Canoeing.
Activities are suitable from grades 3 through to 12, challenging students, building personal development while participating in a safe, fun outdoor environment.
Choose from a variety of teacher led activities such as Archery, Gaga ball, Low Ropes Initiatives, Raft Building, Orienteering, Disc Golf and Beach Volleyball.
At the resort, our spacious camp grounds include a swimming pool, grassed oval and campfire area overlooking our lake – perfect for toasting marshmallows!
The recreation area includes a large undercover space with tables and seating as well as table tennis, foosball and a tennis/basketball court for some down time.
Our huge Main hall adjoins this area with an overhead projector and equipment to watch a movie, hold a trivia night or disco, a perfect space for evening activities. In addition, our Chef caters for all dietary needs using fresh local produce and our cakes and slices are all baked from scratch with meals served in the separate Dining room.
